Whitman Glass Shop was started in Carrollton, Georgia in 1946. After returning from service in the South Pacific campaign of World War II, Mr. Orin Whitman began Whitman Glass Shop as an automotive glass installer. He served the automotive glass needs of residents of Carroll and surrounding counties for many years before branching out into residential glazing, which included walk-in flat glass sales (i.e. bathroom mirrors and window panes).

The residential business grew and eventually led to Whitman's becoming a full-service commercial glazing company. Now the four divisions of Whitman Glass Shop work hand in hand to supply all of your automotive, residential, commercial, and walk-in glazing services. Orin Whitman established Whitman's with a simple business plan - give people the best service possible, with the best finished product, and do it all at a fair price.

Now more than sixty years after he opened his shop, Mr. Whitman is the first of three generations of Whitman’s' still working at Whitman Glass Shop. With a full time staff of twenty-five glass and glazing professionals, our company continually strives to maintain Mr. Whitman's high standards of customer service and customer satisfaction. Our focus on service and value has kept our customers coming back year-after-year. Conveniently located near the courthouse at the original Dixie Street location, we provide automotive, residential, commercial, and walk-in glazing services.
