CARROLLTON, GA -- The Carrollton Area Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Carrollton Main Street Program are pleased to announce the release of the Carrollton City Cemetery Walking Guide.

This new brochure was created, researched and designed by both organizations. It is now available to the public at no charge.

"We're very excited to make this booklet available to people who want to visit the historic cemetery in the heart of Carrollton," said Carrollton Area CVB director Jonathan Dorsey. "Many people have an interest in historic cemeteries, from historians to photographers to family members of those buried there."

"This is just another way to help educate both the community and visitors about the history of our town and give us an opportunity to introduce to them these key people who have had such an influence in shaping both our downtown and our city," said Main Street director Jessica Reynolds.

The guide is designed to give a taste of what Carrollton has to offer. It is available at the Log Cabin Visitor Center (102 North Lakeshore Drive, Carrollton, 30117), the Main Street office (115 Rome Street, Carrollton, 30117) and the downtown retail stores.
