Larry Gatlin, Gatlin Brothers are ‘One Day Closer to You’ at Mill Town

BREMEN, Ga. -- After four decades of creating music, Larry Gatlin along with his brothers, Steve and Rudy, will be performing on the Mill Town Music Hall stage on Friday, Mar. 13 at 7:30 p.m.

Through the years, the Gatlin brothers have performed on a variety of stages from their native state of Texas to Broadway to the White House to the Grammy Awards.

In the early 1970’s, Larry began his solo career writing songs and recording albums with his brothers serving as the backup singers. Larry quickly established himself by winning his first Grammy and being inducted into the Grand Ole Opry with his brothers. In 1979, Larry was awarded ACM’s “Top Male Vocalist” and he and his brothers officially became a trio.

Over the next decade, the trio produced more than a dozen top 40 hits, including "Denver" and "The Lady Takes the Cowboy Every Time," as well as Billboard’s Single of the Year "All the Gold in California." Larry and the Gatlin Brothers recently recorded a new tribute song, "Johnny Cash is Dead and His House is Burned Down." Larry has also started his own radio show called "The Gospel According to Larry."
