AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Doctors have told Aimee Copeland's family she is in for a roller coaster of good and bad days over the next few weeks.
Her father tells us she is talking, laughing, and smiling with her family in the hospital intensive care unit.
It's been more than two weeks since the West Georgia University grad student cut her leg in a zipline accident and contracted a flesh-eating bacteria.

The Carrollton community has rallied around her.
They've planned a fundraiser at her workplace, Sunnyside Cafe, on Rome Street. The event starts at 7 p.m. Friday. There will be music and raffles.
