BE [Positive] race strolls for local cancer fighters | News

CARROLL COUNTY -- The Annual BE [POSITIVE] 5K race will be held at Little Tallapoosa Park on Sept 1. 

According to the University of West Georgia, the race is open to all ages and all levels of athletic backgrounds. The race promotes excercise for all participants, and creating community with neighbors.

Hosted by the CC Striders, the 5K will begin at 8 a.m. and runners can check in starting at 7 a.m. Registration cost is $20 for sign-ups before August 22.

A City of Carrollton representative said the race will benefit two local girls battling cancer, Jessica Lee and Gracie Stephens.
