Violent fight breaks out at breast cancer charity event

VILLA RICA, Ga. -- One man was hospitalized and three others arrested after a fight broke out at a breast cancer charity event. 

Villa Rica Police responded to a call about a fight Monday afternoon. The Watering Hole Sports was hosting a motorcycle charity event to raise money for breast cancer. Investigators say members of the Hard Life Motorcycle Club started a fight in which a person was stabbed. That person was transported by Life-Flight to Atlanta Medical Center and is now in stable condition. 

One member of the motorcycle club was arrested at the scene. Two others were arrested the next day:

  • Joshua Daniel Wood, 25, charged with Aggravated Assault, Battery, and Violation of the Georgia Street Gang Act.
  • Miles Eugene Gladhill, 48, charged with Aggravated Assault, Battery, and Violation of the Georgia Street Gang Act.
  • John Robert Quick, 28, of Riverdale,  charged with Aggravated Assault, Battery, and Violation of the Georgia Street Gang Act.

Villa Rica Police say the investigation is on-going, and they expect additional arrests.
