ADOPT A PET: Meet Sadie | Pets
CARROLLTON, Ga. – If you dream of coming home to a wet nose, wagging tail and tons of kisses (in addition to, perhaps, a half chewed shoe or overturned trashcan) adopt a puppy from your local pet shelter. According to the ASPCA, approximately 5 million to 7 million domesticated animals enter animal shelters nationwide, every year, and approximately 3 million to 4 million are euthanized. However, you can change those numbers but adopting a "companion" for yourself or your family. Pets are an investment but, in our opinion, an investment well worth the money.
According to the Carroll County Animal Shelter, Sadie is a very sweet dog. Sadie is a female Chihuahua mix and she’s about two years old. She arrived at the Humane Society earlier this month; however, with a cute face like hers she won’t be there for long. Sadie loves giving kisses and is eager to have a home of her own. She’s not crate trained but she’s still young so training her probably won’t take much. Sadie can be adopted for $115.
If one should choose to adopt a pet from the Carroll County Humane Society, the adoption fee includes: vaccinations and de-worming, a veterinarian visit, a microchip and surgical sterilization. And, a list of the basic requirements for adoption can be found here. The Carroll County Humane Society is located at 525 East Montgomery Street in Villa Rica.
